Common problems during construction

1. Phenomenon: Needle hole phenomenon in the coating

The formation of pinholes is generally due to the air being expelled from the gaps when waterproof coatings infiltrate the base layer, resulting in the rupture of thin coatings and the formation of many pinholes. This usually does not involve applying adhesive or wetting treatment to the base layer with high water absorption and porosity.

2. Phenomenon: The coating is pulled up and lacks adhesion

Unstable grassroots, floating ash, looseness, and low strength are the reasons for the inability to bond firmly.

Matters needing attention

1. There are large gaps, holes, and accumulated water on the roof, which need to be leveled with cement before construction.

2. Before construction, clean thoroughly and rinse with water to keep the base surface of the pasted area clean, free of oil stains, moss, and loose layers.

3. The cement surface of the roof is sanding, the colored steel tiles are rusty, and the base strength is not high. A sealing agent needs to be used before painting.

4. Choose a sunny day for construction and do not paint with water.
